Poundland / Lundon Pad

PR stunt for Poundland.

Lundon Pad is actually an anagram of Poundland and launched as a fake new homewares brand coming to the UK from Sweden.

PEP&CO Home was the exciting new range which would launch in 100 Poundland stores in August 2020 and they wanted to create a buzz around the launch to change people’s misconceptions they may have about the quality and value of the products from Poundland.

The brief was to create a fake luxury Scandi homewares brand. I created a logo with a Scandi style font, keeping it clean and simple. We also used minimal colour of turquoise and navy which ultimately complimented the product range colours.

The launch was a great success.

See the homepage mock up here or visit the website below and  view the video of the public who were extremely surprised when they find out the truth about the products in the fake window display.
